New to Edinburgh?

If there are ways that we can help you as a church as you settle into this city then please do be in touch. Please contact Alistair and he will be pleased to try and help you out or point you to someone who can.

We love students at Bruntsfield!

We as a church are committed to praying for students, serving students, investing in students with our overall hope of seeing students being trasformed by the grace of Jesus Christ.

Each Sunday during term there is a Student Lunch in the upstairs hall after the 11:30 service. This is a great way of meeting other students and sampling the vast array of culinary delights from members of the congregation. As part of these lunches, there will be fortnightly discussions on a range of practical topics geared for students. There are also church wide lunches and socials that happen throughout the year.

We encourage all our students to get involved in one of our church wide Small Groups that meet during the week. This is a great opportunity to meet together with other Christians to study the Bible, to encourage one another, to pray together and generally to do life together.

We also encourage students to become members while they are with us because being part of a church family is vital for spiritual health. We realise that as a student you may only be in Edinburgh for a short time, but being a member here at Bruntsfield would open opportunities for service and care and we would urge you to chat to a member of the team.

In the springtime we will go for a Day Away. This a is a day conference designed specifically for Students and those in their 20’s. Here we seek to delve into Gods Word more deeply, apply it more thoroughly to our lives, and get to know one another a bit better as well. The dates for the ‘Get Away’ this year are coming soon. Stay tuned!

We also encourage all our Students to meet up 1 to 1 with another Christian in the Church to read the Bible together. This can be tailored to whatever would be helpful and we have a wide range of resources to help us study the Bible well together.
