Christianity Explored

Women@BEC

Women@BEC exists to equip and encourage women in the church through studying God's Word and cultivating authentic relationships.

Coffee @ Bruntsfield
Coffee @ Bruntsfield

Coffee@Bruntsfield is a twice-a-month opportunity to meet for coffee and cakes, a good chat and a short epilogue.  There's also often an optional activity, and on weeks when there isn't there's the opportunity to play dominoes, do crosswords etc  It's normally on the first and third Friday of each month from 2pm to 3:30pm.

Friday Funzone
Friday Funzone

This group really lives up to its name. It happens every Friday during term time between 6-7.15pm in the upstairs hall. It includes games, Bible stories and an opportunity to share favourite jokes in Friday Punzone.

Foodbank+
Foodbank+

Foodbank+ at Bruntsfield is a ministry we run to try and help people in crisis in our city and local area. People are referred to us by various agencies and support teams and God gives us the glorious opportunity, to provide food for them, build relationships with them, share our lives and the love of Jesus.

Prayer
Prayer

Prayer is a vital part of the life of a healthy church, and we aim to give it high priority at Bruntsfield. Prayer is important at all our Sunday services, and also in our small groups.

Baby & Toddler Group
Baby & Toddler Group

Baby and Toddler group is run in the upstairs hall of the church on a Wednesday morning between 10am-12 noon during school term time. It is a relaxed environment for adults to meet each other and for children to play and have fun

Care Van
Care Van

The Church has a team of volunteers that work on the care van one Wednesday evening each month.

Volunteers serve soup, rolls, tea and coffee to those in need. Volunteers will also distribute items of donated clothing.

  • Welcome Team

    Our welcome & integration team are there to make sure everyone that comes through our doors feels at home and gets the opportunity to meet new friends and get plugged into relevant church activities.

  • Worship

    Our worship team leads the church in sung worship every week at our services. We welcome band members of a variety of musical styles and experience levels who are passionate about praising God.

  • Tech Team

    Our tech team serves us week-in-week-out by running audio/visual that makes our services possible as well as live streaming services so that members and guests can join us from around the world.

  • Food & Fellowship

    Our food & fellowship team provide us with so many opportunities to meet and build strong relationships with each other - whether its over tea and coffee after services or at our whole church lunches.

  • Visiting Team

    Our visiting team look out for the specific needs of individual church members and try to make sure that we are doing everything we can to support and care for every single person that comes into the church.

  • Evangelism

    Sharing the Good News about Jesus is paramount to our Christian walk and a foremost pillar of our church. Our evangelism team helps to empower the church in reaching out to our friends and local community.

  • Kids Church

    We have a vibrant kids’ church and creche for all ages from babies to pre-schoolers to primary school ages. This is an amazing opportunity to be able to introduce our kids to the love of Jesus during these formative years.

  • Embassy

    The Embassy group is a place for teens to make friends and socialise while growing deeper in their faith as they study the Bible together. Our youth leaders are there for our young people as they learn to navigate the modern world.
