Bruntsfield Evangelical Church is an eclectic mix of all sorts of people. Looking around on a Sunday (when Covid restrictions allow us to meet) you can see people from every age and stage of life. You can see those that are born and bred Scots and an increasing number of internationals as well. It is a beautiful mix of diversity brought together to share life, worship and serve together.

Bruntsfield is also very relaxed. There is no dress code at all, some people choose to wear a suit, others jeans and a hoodie. There is also no mystery, we try to explain everything that is happening in a service so even if you have never been to church before it is hopefully very straightforward and accessible.

The service is normally led by an individual from the church who leads everyone through the different elements of the service, prayers, songs, notices, children’s talk etc.

Our music is led by a group of talented musicians who serve us very well and our songs are a mixture of old and new, upbeat and contemplative, rousing and reflective.

During the service someone will give a talk from the Bible in a relevant way, opening up a passage of Scripture and applying it to life in the 21st Century.

Our whole ethos at Bruntsfield is to glorify God the Father through God the Son by the power of God the Holy Spirit.
